As Senior Sales Engineer, it is my responsibility to evangalize Splunk's Data to Everything Platform. Splunk is an Enterprise Software Company whose Data Analytics, Security (SIEM, UEBA and SOAR), IT Operations, and Business Intelligence software has revolutionized how businesses interact with Data. August 2020 – May 2021, Solutions Architect: Webscale Networks

Webscale is a cloud-native, e-commerce solutions provider that offers cloud-agnostic, managed, web-based platforms focusing on performance, availability and security. I work with customers to design and build cloud architectures leveraging multi-tier environments, particularly to address their e-commerce needs. We leverage technologies such as: AWS EC2, Elasticache Redis, multi-level caching (CDN and full page cache), Elastic Search, RDS Aurora, among other solutions. Our goal is to help customers understand the benefits of Webscale, simplify the complexities of the cloud, and build secure architectures. In addition, I work closely with the Sales team to demonstrate and present our solutions. Furthermore, it is my responsibility to help project manage implementations through migration and delivery to ensure they are successful.

June 2019 – August 2020, Solutions Architect: ConvergeOne

I was previously a member of ConvergeOne’s Solutions Architecture team. As a Solutions Architect, it was my responsibility to design technical solutions to expose and remediate my customer’s business challenges. To that end, I worked closely with the Sales team to design, build and close large, complex sales opportunities by developing and delivering customer presentations and demonstrations. Moreover, as a Solutions Architect, it was my responsibility to work closely with project management and post-sales engineering in order to ensure projects were completed on time and on schedule.

December 2010 – June 2019, Lead Sales Engineer: Centurylink

As Lead Sales Engineer, I was an integral member of the CenturyLink Government and Education Solutions (GES) Sales Engineering team in Colorado. My responsibilities included design and architecture of technical solutions to meet our customer’s communications needs. My areas of technical expertise included Network Infrastructure, Datacenter, and Unified Communications. During my tenure, we were able to close some of the largest deals in Colorado, including achieving over 250% our regional quota and delivering solutions that allowed our customers to focus on their business, rather than Network and Datacenter technology. Additionally, I worked closely with my account team in order to determine design criteria and to develop customer solutions and recommendations.

June 2008 – December 2010, Solutions Architect/Cisco Practice Manager: Lewan & Associates

Enterprise voice, video and integrated data networks. I worked primarily in the Enterprise space with special focus on Datacenter, Network Infrastructure and Unified Communications. Worked closely with the sales force to determine design criteria and present customer solutions and recommendations. Primary responsibilities included assisting sales executives in closing complex sales opportunities, developing technical solutions and bill of materials, as well as developing statements of work.
